Fairways – Grange-over-Sands

Located in Grange-over-Sands, Fairways is the transformation of a 1940s bungalow into a contemporary
home designed to maximise natural light, improve energy efficiency and provide comfortable, low-
maintenance living for years to come. Having previously worked with Wilson Builds on two successful
projects, the homeowners approached Dan and the team before purchasing the property, seeking advice on
its potential and confidence that their vision could be successfully delivered.

Working alongside HPA Architects, Wilson Builds undertook a full programme of renovation, extension and
modernisation to create a spacious, energy-efficient home while working within the constraints of the
existing structure and site. Unexpected ground conditions and structural issues uncovered during the build
required practical solutions and careful project management throughout. Completed in 2025, Fairways
demonstrates Wilson Builds’ ability to transform older properties into high-quality contemporary homes,
combining thoughtful design, modern technology and exceptional craftsmanship.
